For the third year Gozo Live is running its writing participation open to all school students in Gozo. Stories, essays or poems can be entered, written either in English or Maltese on any subject and of any length.

The organisers said that they are looking particularly for creative, interesting work where imagination is used. “Write on a subject that really absorbs you.”

As was done last year selected entries will appear in the Young Authors of Gozo publication (cover of last year’s edition shown in the picture). Also it is planned to have some functions where students will be invited to read their work in front of family and members of the public.

Gozo Live has already received some entries but there is room for more! This year the judges plan to provide feedback to each entrant. “Don’t miss getting your entry in.”

All entries should contain the name, email address (and/or mobile number), age and school of the entrant.

Entries can be emailed to gozolive2018@gmail.com. Please also email for any queries, or to request a full copy of the rules.

Teachers and parents are welcome to send in entries for students. Closing date is the 16th of October 2015.
