Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was briefed by the Prime Minister on the new medical school in Gozo, a project of Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry.

Dr Joseph Muscat, together with Minister for Energy and Health Konrad Mizzi and the Dean of Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry Professor Anthony Warrens, presented an overview of the new developments in the health sector at Gozo Hospital and St Luke's Hospital, with a special focus on the education aspect through the setting up of the new medical school.

Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry is a leading teaching and research institution in the UK offering undergraduate and postgraduate opportunities.
