Gozo police have arrested five foreigners who were found to be residing in Gozo without the required documentation.

The arrests followed police raids in Marsalforn and Fontana along with searches of residences and garages in other areas of Gozo.

Three of the men are believed to be Syrian, Libyan and Palestinian nationals, whilst the nationality of the others is not yet confirmed.

During a search of the Palestinians apartment police also found drug related materials. Further investigations are ongoing.
