Immigration & Human Rights: Awareness sessions for Gozo students

The Europe Direct Information Centre – Victoria, Gozo, in collaboration with the YRE Malta, has this year organised awareness sessions on Immigration and Human Rights at the Bishop's Conservatory Girls' Secondary School and the Gozo College Secondary School.

Representative from the Jesuit Refugee Services came to speak to the students and the sessions were led by Jesuit Vyacheslav Okun from the Ukraine. Gozo students attend awareness sessions on Immigration & Human RightsThe students in attendance also had the opportunity to listen to a refugee who spoke about their life story.

Over 700 Gozitan students have benefited from these sessions, which were organised to help them in their reporting for "The Europe Direct-Gozo YRE AWARD" project.
