Kunsill Studenti Universitarji has said that to ease the parking problem at the University of Malta and promote car pooling, Car Park 4 (near quad) will be reserved for car poolers.

To gain access to this parking, a car must have a driver, at least 2 passengers and the security guard on site, must be shown 2 parking permits (including the one of the car itself) .

This pilot project will start as from tomorrow (Wednesday) and will last for 2 months from 7am – 1pm.

A study will be conducted and if this is successful, the initiative will be extended.

Please note that motorcycles will still be admitted in Car Park 4 at all times! The 2 reserved parking spaces for disabled badge holders will be unaffected.
