A 48-year-old man was injured in a traffic accident this afternoon, in Rabat Road, Nadur, Gozo.

The Police said that the accident happened at about 5.00pm, when the man lost control of the motorcycle he was riding and crashed into a wall.

The motorcyclist was taken to Gozo General Hospital where he was certified as suffering from grievous injuries.

Investigations are underway by the Victoria District Police.
