On Monday, Minister for Social Dialogue, Consumer Affairs and Civil Liberties Helena Dalli sent a strong message on the importance of diversity, saying that "nobody chooses how he or she is born" and that "today's children are acknowledging this fact and are setting a great example for us adults by accepting one another, irrelevant of their differences."

Speaking during the launch of SkolaSajf's 'United in Diversity' art exhibition at the House of Representatives following a show of talent by Skolasajf students tied to the theme, Dr Dalli appealed to children not to get influenced by adults who discriminate, praising children for helping bring about an inclusive society.

Minister for Education and Employment Evarist Bartolo said that being in favour of diversity is harder than deciding to stay with people who are not different to us but it is being in favour of diversity that will make this world a better place.
