Three concerts are being organised by the Fondazzjoni Santa Cecilja between the 19th of November and the 30th of December, for the second edition of the Santa Cecilia Festival.

The first concert will be held in collaboration with Wirt Ghawdex, this coming Saturday, the 19th of November, starting at 7:30pm in the medieval chapel of Santa Cecilia, Ghajnsielem.

The second concert will be held on Friday, the 16th of December in the church of Saint Lucija Gozo, starting at 7: 30pm, in collaboration with the Santa Lucija Administrative Committee.

Then, the festival reaches its climax on Friday, the 30th of December with the Christmas Concert performance, which will for the first time, will be held in St. James Church, Independence Square, Victoria Gozo, starting a 7.30pm.

This Saturday's 'Concertino on Santa Cecilia's Eve – will be with the St. Cecilia Choir, together with Mr Victor Vella, violinist from Malta, with piano accompaniment under the musical and artistic direction of Mro. Antoine Mercieca. Everyone is invited to attend.

The feast of St. Cecilia, the Patron Saint of Music, is traditionally celebrated on the 22nd of November.
