Gozo Live/Gozo College has once again organised two writing events for 2017: a creative writing competition and the writing participation.

The creative writing award event closes on the 31st of March 2017 . This year a theme of transport has been chosen and students are asked to view this creatively “and in the widest sense of the word transport.”

The organisers said that they are “not looking for discussions on buses and trains or essays on traffic jams in Malta unless this is handled in a completely original way. Transport means moving from one place to another and anything, people, animals, goods or even ideas can be moved. Students are encouraged to put their creativity to work.”

The participation closes on the 20th of October, however entries can be submitted at any time. There is no theme and any subject can be chosen. Poems, stories or essays are requested or plays written by one student or by groups.
