The next workshop in the Zero Hour campaign is being organised by JEF Malta in collaboration with LGBTI+ Gozo and will discuss LGBTI+ awareness.

The organisers said that LGBTI+ issues have been dealt with both on a local level, with the recent steps in favour of the community through legislation, and on a European level.

“This workshop will focus on both issues relating to sexual orientation as well as gender identity, bringing to light historical advances and discussing the LGBTI+ community in our society,” the organisers said

Entitled – LGBTI+ Community: A local and European Perspective – the workshop is going to be held on Wednesday, the 3rd of May, at Common Room, University of Malta, from noon till 2pm.

Attendance is free of charge, and a light lunch will be included.
