Police have said that a 50-year old man from Victoria, Gozo was grievously injured early this morning, when the sulky he was riding on was hit by a car.
The accident took place at about 6.10am in Pope John Paul II Street, Victoria, when a Nissan Micra car, being driven by 23-year old woman, also from Victoria, collided with the sulky. The young woman was uninjured.
Police investigations are still ongoing.
