A truckload of ice was delivered to Mgarr Harbour this morning to assist local fishermen with their freshly landed fish fresh. because of a shortage of ice caused by problems at the cold room in Xewkija.

In a statement, Parliamentary Secretary for Fisheries, Clint Camilleri said that, “the Secretariat will continue to work to help local fishermen, and this is just a temporary measure until the problem is solved with the cold room.”
