Melita Sports said it is breaking more new ground in sports transmissions as it broadcasts for the first time ever, the finals of the French Horseracing Championship on Sunday, the 21st of December, live and exclusive.
The French Horseracing Championship, organised by the Malta Racing Club in collaboration with the French Horseracing Association, is open to all French origin horses that are registered in Malta.
The live broadcast on Melita Sports is in collaboration with the Malta Racing Club and the Parliamentary Secretariat for Youth and Sport. Live broadcast will begin at 1.30 pm on Sunday, the 21st of December, on Melita Sports with live commentary by Kenneth Vella, Tommy Cummingham, Twanny Bugeja.
The Championship finals will be spread out over a number of races: the Final Prix de Vinciennes begins at 2pm, following by the Final Prix D’Engien, the Final Prix de Cabourg, the Final Prix de Cagnes Mer, the Final Prix de Caen and the Final Prix de Marseille, all taking place in 30 minute intervals between 2pm and 4.30pm.

Just to say that this was a memorable occassion for us horse racing enthusiasts. I enjoyed a lot commentating this event. I’ve been in this sport now for these last 27 years and since I never had this chance to be commentating live on our tv networks.
By the way a small correction re your news conference, I’m Twanny Bugeja not Twanny Buhagiar. Twanny was one of the best sports journalist commentating on football with One Production. He’s still a friend but today, Twanny Bugahiar is retired because of an illness he’s been suffering for lot of months. We should welcome a speedy recovery and PRAY for him in our prayers.
