The first Gozo Cycling Club Road Race was held this morning, organised by the Gozo Cycling Club under the auspices of the Malta Cycling Federation.
The event was hailed as a great success by both the competitors and organisers.
The races set off from Xewkija on a circuit route of Qala Road, Borg Gharib Street and Mgarr Road.
The Award Ceremony was held in the presence of the Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana, Xewkija Mayor Paul Azzopardi, Malta Cycling Federation Secretary Joe Bajada and Tal-Massar Winery Representative Marisa Cauchi Hili.
