A parcel containing cannabis was seized yesterday by customs officials yesterday stationed at the Customs Express Freight Office, in Luqa.

The discovery was made while carrying inspections at a courier’s receiving depot. The parcel arrived from Germany and was heading to an address in St Julians.

Customs said that the substance was discovered during a physical inspection of the parcel and it later tested positive for Cannabis.

The Police Drug Squad were informed.
