The need for blood donations never stops, the National Blood Transfusion said that with summer now upon us the demand can become even greater.

To help with this constant demand, the Service is holding a blood donation session in Gozo and is inviting the public – if their health permits- to donate blood next Tuesday the 19th of June.

Donations can be made at the District Health Centre in Xewkija. The session will be 1:00pm to 5:00pm (last registration until 5:00pm).

It is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
