Blood donation sessions are being held in Gozo by the National Blood Donation Service during October in an effort to help meet the challenge of maintaining a good blood reserve.

The service is inviting the public to donate blood on one of the dates shown below, at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, located as shown above.

Sundays

14th October from 8: 00am to 1: 00pm

28th October from 8:00am to 1:00pm

Tuesdays

9th October 1:00pm-5:00pm

23rd October from 1:00pm-5:00pm.

It is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
