Police have advised that a 37-year-old Polish man from Nadur was seriously injured after he was hit by a car in Manikata.

The accident happened at about 8,15pm on Friday evening, when the man was hit by a Ford Fiesta being driven by a 78-year-old man from Saint Paul’s Bay..

Both men involved were taken to hospital, however the driver of the Fiesta was not injured in the accident.

Police investigations are still underway.
