The project for Ggantija Temples which was allocated €3.1 million from the European Regional Development Fund, has only reached its initial phase, Culture Minister Dolores Cristina has said in answer to a parliamentary question put by Anton Refalo (PL).

The Minister said that the initial phase of the project is covering civil engineering and design, project management and expropriation of land. It is projected that it will utilise €284,000 of the funds this year.
