There is the chance to donate blood during any of the four sessions taking place in Gozo during the month of May, organised by the National Blood Transfusion Service, starting next Tuesday.

The Service reminds everyone that there is always a constant need for blood of all types and to help meet this demand, the public on Gozo are invited to please make a donation on one of the dates shown below.

Donations can be made at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

Sundays – last registration 1:00pm

12th May from 8: 00am to 1:00pm

26th May from 8: 00am to 1:00pm

Tuesdays – last registration 5:00pm

7th May from 1:00pm-5:00pm

21st May from 1:00pm-5:00pm.

The Service reminds everyone that it is important to always take your Identity Card, Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
