In accordance with LN 1 of 2006 as amended by LN 104 of 2008, the Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment has granted approval so that commercial premises may open for business until 10.00p.m. on the 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th of February 2009.

Those commercial establishments which, by virtue of LN 1 of 2006, are already allowed to open for longer business hours remain unaffected by this notice.

Moreover, in accordance with LN 1 of 2006 as amended by LN 104 of 2008, the Minster of Finance, the Economy and Investment is hereby granting an exemption for catering establishments which do not already have such a permit to remain open for business until 4am on the nights of the 20th, 21st ,22nd, 23rd and 24th of February 2009.

All provisions concerning amplified music remain unchanged and no annoyance or inconvenience to neighbours is permitted by any sound capable of being heard from outside the premises or by anything done inside or outside the premises.
