On Tuesday evening – Il-Hjata – a display of the Spring/Summer 2019 Haute Couture Collection by VickyAnn Xuereb, had its official opening at the Banca Giuratale, Independence Square, Victoria.
The exhibition is taking place with the collaboration of the Ministry for Gozo and Minister Justyne Caruana was present for the event, together with Maria Attard, Director of Dar Guzeppa Debono.
All donations and proceeds from the sale of any garments will be donated to Dar Guzeppa Debono. The Exhibition will be open from the 3rd to the 8th of September.
VickyAnn explained that the theme of the collection compliments the French Riviera Fashion in the 1930s and 1940s, when fashionista women started wearing comfortable, yet chic and elegant attire, especially the renowned wide legged trousers for socialising and other leisure pursuits.
During a ceremony in July at the Ministry for Gozo VickyAnn, with the Minister for Gozo, presented the sum of €700 to Maria Attard.
The money was raised from the sales of VickyAnn’s Spring/Summer 2019 Haute Couture Collection, presented in the – Feminine Allure – fashion show, as part of the Gozo Alive programme of events last May.
