“The need for blood never stops,” the National Blood Transfusion Service has said. Faced with this reality, the Service is calling on the public in Gozo to please donate blood next Tuesday, the 10th of September.

The Service has advised that donations can be made at the District Health Centre in Xewkija. The session will be 1:00pm to 5:00pm (last registration until 5:00pm).

It is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.

The Service thanks everyone who intends to donate.
