A blood donation session is taking place this Tuesday in Gozo. The National Blood Transfusion Service said that the need for blood is constant to keep up with demand.
The Service said that all Gozitans who are able, are asked to please donate blood this Tuesday, the 5th of November, at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, where they will be taking donations between 1:00pm to 5:00pm (last registration until 5:00pm).
The Centre is located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.
The Service reminds everyone that it is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
