This Christmas help those who are sick in hospital and give an unusual gift, help give life – give blood.

The National Blood Transfusion Service has said that throughout December there will be the opportunity to give blood during sessions taking place in Gozo.

Donations can be made at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club on any of the four dates shown below:

Sunday – last registration 1:00pm

8th December from 8: 00am to 1:00pm

Tuesdays – last registration 5:00pm

3rd December from 1:00pm-5:00pm

17th December from 1:00pm-5:00pm

Saturday – last registration 5:00pm

21st December from 1:00pm-5:00pm.

The Service reminds everyone that it is important to always take your Identity Card, Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
