A reader has sent in two photographs, which were taken on the 2nd of March, showing a landslide which is blocking the road from Xwejni Bay to Reqqa Point, near Marsalforn.
Also included is a third photograph showing a vandalized sign which was erected to describe the salt pans and diving sites in the area.
The reader expressed his contempt for those who vandalized the sign and called for immediate action to be taken by the authorities to remove the landslide as this site is very popular with locals and tourists, as well as extensively used by divers.

I read your Gozo News every day , and i enjoy look at it . Keep your good work ,and spread the News every where in the World ….
PS I hope they catch that smart ASS ,that made the damage on this Sign .. And make him Pay for it .. Walter
When you see vandalised signs like this – and the ones at Dwerja – how can the GTA and MTA still expect tourists to visit these islands? The vandalised sign on the road down to Dwerja must be at least two or three years old by now! No wonder Malta is almost at the bottom of the worldwide tourist list!
