The Ministry for Gozo has said that the work on St Francis Square has now moved to the final phase – the placing of tiles. Pending completion of the work, the Square will be closed.
The Ministry also said that the paving has been completed on the steps leading down from St Francis Square, and soon artistic mosaics will be installed.
Both projects were linked to minimise the inconvenience, the Ministry said, and thanked the public for their cooperation.

Don’t forget the elderly and disabled need a hand rail to hold on to, otherwise they will end up in a heap at the bottom of the stairs
I like the look of the stepped waterfall. Where is that going to be?
It says steps leading down from St.Francis Square to the new poly clinic.
