On Saturday, Prime Minister Robert Abela was in Gozo, where he visited the localities of Xewkija, Xaghra and Qala and met with the local residents.
His journey to Gozo included a stop-off on Comino, where he was greeted by Salvu Vella, who took him on a tour of the island and to meet with the rest of the family.
On his visit to Qala, Dr Abela was also accompanied by Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri and Minister for Agriculture Anton Refalo, who both hail from the village.
The Prime Minister made an appeal to the Labour supporters to unite together. While Dr Camilleri said that they will be working together to boost tourism, attract more companies, create more jobs and more investment to Gozo.
