The Gozo Model Car Club Championship 2020 fourth round was held on Saturday at the GMCC Ta’ Xhajma Track, organised by the GMCC.
Weather conditions were perfect for the competition with a sunny and calm afternoon.
In the final of the Truggies Class, Miguel Attard was placed first with 27 laps taking 10 points to secure his place at the top of the Championship table with 38 points. He was followed by Christian Farrugia with 26 laps who received 8 points. Third place was won by Marlon Le Prevost also with 26 laps.
In the final of the Buggies Class, Marlon Le Prevost was placed first with 27 laps taking 10 points to place at the top of the Championship table with 32 points. Followed by Miguel Attard with 25 laps who received 8 points. Third place was won by Anthony Camilleri with 25 laps.
At the end of the day the winners of the final event had their photograph taken on the podium to the applause of their fellow competitors and supporters.
The fifth round will be held on the Saturday, the 8th of February, with racing starting at 1.00pm at the GMCC Ta’ Xhajma Track.
