Carnival time in Gozo is fast approaching and the Gharb Local Council has announced that Carnival festivities in Gharb will be held on Sunday, the 16th of February, from 9.30am onwards.

This years activities will include among others, a mysterious masquerade competition, dance companies, Maltese dance group, foreign bands the Escola de Samba Roma- Rio and the Batuca Beat Band and of course the Carnival floats.

There will be free popcorn for the children, free sangria for adults and the traditional Carnival prinjolata for everyone.

The special guest performers for this years Carnival will be Kav. Joe M Attard.

The Carnival, as in previous years, will be held at the Pjazza Zjara tal-Madonna, Gharb.
