The Nadur Spontaneous Carnival attracted thousands to the opening night, famous for its tradition and macabre, but above all for the spontaneity.

The Nadur Spontaneous Carnival comes to life after sunset, or as soon as the streets go dark, with crowds of people in masks and costume filling the square and surrounding area.

The Nadur Local Council in a statement said, that over the Carnival period it ensures everything is done to cover “the right cleanliness, traffic management, law enforcement, lighting, sound, and much more.”

The Carnival continues in Nadur every evening after sunset, with Tuesday being the last night.
