“The Maltese and Gozitans are capable of running the health sector, said the Nationalist Party Leader Adrian Delia while addressing a political activity in Gozo on Sunday, adding that the public health sector is now “sick with corruption.”

Referring to the Gozo General Hospital, Dr. Delia said that “Vitals had had promised all the facilities for a modern hospital with the best medicines, equipment and services, which operate independently from Mater Dei but nothing has been done, with all promises failing to materialise., with Maltese and Gozitans still paying for it.”

He called on the Prime Minister to cease the contract, for which, he said, they would have the support of the Opposition.
