Gozo SPCA in Victoria is receiving calls every day about dogs in need of their help that are currently living on the streets around Gozo.

The Centre has a number of dogs waiting to be adopted and until some of them find loving homes they are unable to take others in.

So, if anyone is considering a pet, then please adopt one from a rehoming shelter such as Gozo SPCA. Not only will you be offering a loving home to a dog or kitten in need, you will also be helping the ones that are still waiting to be taken in off the streets for their chance of help and a forever home.

Six of the medium/large dogs currently available for rehoming at Gozo SPCA are shown in the photograph above. They have all been neutered and microchipped.

They are: Sammie – 6-year old male flat coated retriever x; Bambi – I-year old female lab/tal fenek; Jimmy – 1-year old male fox terrier/Doberman; Sheba – female Brittany Spaniel 1-year old; Dennis – 7-year old chihuahua x male and Basil – 8-9 month old staffie/pointer x male (now booked).

Gozo SPCA is located at the rear of the Aurora Theatre, at the far end of the Victoria Playing Field. They are open in the evenings from 4pm to 5pm and Saturday from 9.30 till around noon, so why not call in and meet some of the dogs waiting for their own forever homes.
