The Gozo SPCA Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Victoria has requested that anyone who wishes to visit their centre please call them first on 99475199 or 21553769, and upon arrival to remain outside, for the safety of both the visitor and the centre personnel.
Gozo SPCA added that it remains open for adoptions of animals, explaining that if they halt adoptions, they cannot take in any more animals, but please contact them first.
The centre stressed that they still have their usual expenses, but their income has fallen sharply.
Gozo SPCA concluded by saying that “we are operating with a much smaller personnel than usual, to protect our more at risk volunteers, and also to have backup if any of our staff have to go into quarantine.”
