On the occasion of the twinning between the localities of Qala and Marsascala which took place on Sunday 29th March 2009, Radio Lehen il-Qala saw to it that the event reached the homes of its listeners.

The evening programme held to mark the signing of the twinning which was held at the parish centre on Saturday 28th was transmitted directly.

On Sunday then the mayors of the two localities were invited to the radio studios for an interview where they explained the benefits of this twinning and how the residents of both localities stood to gain through it.
