During July there are four opportunities to donate blood in Gozo

The National Blood Transfusion Service has said that there will be 4 opportunities during July to make a donation of blood in Gozo, beginning next Sunday, the 5th of July.
The Service encouraged the public to be confident and come forward to donate for the benefit of the many patients who are hospitalised across Gozo and Malta at this time
Donations can be made at the Xewkija Clinic, located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.
Sundays – last registration 1:00pm
5th July from 8:00am to 1:00pm
19th July from 8:00am to 1:00pm
Tuesdays – last registration 5:00pm
14th July from 1:00pm-5:00pm
28th July from 1:00pm-5:00pm.
The Service stressed that due to the Covid-19 situation all necessary measures are being taken to protect anyone who comes to donate blood, as well as the professionals who provide them with a service.
“Blood donors are informed that no swabbing tests are carried out at any stage of the blood donation,” the Service said.

The Service reminds everyone that it is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand. Also, please encourage others to donate if possible.
