The Superintendent of Public Health Prof Charmaine Gauci speaking on TVM last night about the Covid-19 situation said that, “despite the rumours of many cases, there have been no cases in Gozo in recent weeks.”

She went on to say that, no Gozitans have tested positive so far, and there are no Covid patients at the Gozo General Hospital.

Prof Gauci stressed that however, this did not mean that the virus is present in Gozo, particularly with more people travelling between the islands and the public must continue to observe the regulations.
