Malta removed from UK list of travel corridors from 4am on SaturdayUK Secretary of State for Transport Grant Shapps, has just announced this evening that Malta has been removed from its list of Coronavirus safe Travel Corridors.

The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office has warned against “all but essential  travel to Malta.”

Shapps said that this is to keep infection rates down in the UK. Anyone arriving in the UK from Malta after 4.am GMT on Saturday morning will need to self-isolate for 14 days.

This decision has been made by all four administrations of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Other countries also removed by the UK on Thursday, are France, the Netherlands, Monaco, Turks & Caicos and Aruba.
