On the day of the episcopal consecration of the new Bishop of the Diocese of Gozo, Mons. Anton Teuma, the Nationalist Party said that it joins with the Gozitan people and congratulates them on this event.

The Nationalist Party also congratulated to Mons Teuma for this important step in his life, “which will undoubtedly translate into fruitful work for the Catholic Church in Gozo and for the island of Gozo in general.”

The Nationalist Party said that it is looking forward to working closely with Bishop Teuma and the Gozitan Diocese.

The PN thanked Mons. Mario Grech for his work, “now that he will be finishing his journey as Bishop of Gozo and wish him well for the new commitments he will be taking within the Catholic Church abroad.”
