Two men, aged 90 and 78 have both died while being positive with Covid-19, bringing the number of victims to die with the virus up to 37.
The Ministry for Health in a statement on Friday, that the 90-year old man tested positive for Covid-19 on the 15th of September and was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on the 27th of September, where he died yesterday.
The 78-year old man tested positive for Covid-19 on the 10th of September and was admitted to Mater Dei Hospital on the 15th of September, where he died during the night.
The Ministry said that both of them had “underlying health conditions.”
The Health Ministry, while offering its condolences to their families, reiterated its appeal for the public to continue to follow the public health guidelines, including frequent hand washing, social distancing and wearing a mask.
