The seasonal influenza vaccine will be available from Health Centres in Gozo and Malta, as from this Sunday, the 11th of October.

Health Minister Chris Fearne, said this week that the vaccine will be given free of charge and urged the public to take the seasonal vaccine this year.

For the first three weeks they will focus on people aged 55 and over, people of any age with a chronic disease and children from the age of 6-months to under 5-years of age. It will then be available to everyone from the 1st of November.

In Gozo each locality has a vaccination site that will be open with specified times and dates, apart from these, the vaccination will also be available from the Victoria Health Centre, Monday to Sunday between 10am and 7pm.
