The Moviment Zghazagh Partit Nazzjonalista (MZPN) has elected its new Executive Board This marked the fresh start of another term. This executive board will comprise of 15 members, 8 of which were elected for the first time.
MZPN in a statement, said that the mix of ideas, experiences and thinking between the elected members will be helpful for the branch to reach new goals and will enhance the board’s innovative spirit and drive to move forward.
7 members were re-elected from last term’s executive board, and MZPN said that this will promote continuity and the implementation of an experience-based strategy.
The elected members are:
Joseph Grech has been re-confirmed as President of the executive board.
MZPN’s vice-presidential office has been reformed into two positions – the Vice President for Internal Affairs, which will be occupied by Courtney Farrugia, and the Vice President for External Affairs, which will be occupied by Gabriel Micallef.
Daniel Vella Fondacaro was appointed as MZPN’s Secretary General, while Amii Camilleri was appointed as MZPN’s Assistant Secretary General.
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be Jake Scerri Seychell whilst Gianluca Sciberras will be taking over the role of Treasurer.
Carina Suda has been appointed as International Coordinator, completing the administrative team.
The Human Resources Office will be comprised of Ayrton Saffrett and Marylyn Sammut.
Thomas De Martino who served as TeamStart President during the past term, will work hand in hand with the PRO as the Social Media Manager.
The Activities Office will be managed by Matthias Vassallo and Maria Victoria Galea.
Alex Borg was appointed as Gozo Coordinator while Frederick Aquilina will be the Social Policy Officer.
MZPN congratulated all those who offered their candidacy and were part of this election. “We would like to send a special heartfelt message to those who did not get elected. We are one team. We all have a role to give, based on our experiences, skills and objectives. We will strive to involve everyone and join our collective strengths. Together!”
