New Christmas decorations now adorn the main Nadur Square as well as December 13th Street, bringing festive cheer to the locality.
The Local Council said that in view of the Covid-19 situation, it had decided to invest even more funds in decorating the town centre, based on the theme of stars, snow and a beautiful new Christmas tree.
The Christmas tree stands 13 metres tall and is dressed with thousands of LED lights which are illuminating the square for the festive season.
The tree was officially lit on Sunday, by the Mayor of Nadur Edward Said and Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri, as well as the Local Councillors and administration.
The street decorations at Nadur were funded by the Local Council and the Cultural Heritage Directorate within the Ministry for Gozo.
