Five more patients die with Covid-19, 215 lives lost to the virus

Five more patients have died while being positive with Covid-19, the Health Ministry said. with the number of lives lost to the virus now at 215.
The first was an 88-year old woman, who tested positive for Covid-19 on the 22nd of December and passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The second was a 93-year old woman, who was confirmed positive for the virus 13th of December and passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The third patient, was an 86-year old man, who tested positive for the virus on the 13th of December and passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The fourth was a 95-year old man who tested positive for the virus on the 16th of December and passed away yesterday at Mater Dei Hospital.
The fifth patient was a 77-year old and, who tested positive on the 21st of December and passed away earlier today at Mater Dei Hospital.
The Ministry of Health, while offering its condolences to the relatives of the families, called on the public to continue to follow the preventive measures “so that we can protect the most vulnerable in our society” – This includes wearing of masks, social distancing and hand hygiene.
