Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri has visited repair work that is taking place on Triq l-Imghallem in Victoria, Gozo.

It was explained that this 460 metre road has been rebuilt and redeveloped at a cost of around €850,000. Works have included new water and sewerage systems, rainwater pipes that include a system leading from the Citadel, rebuilding of stormwater culverts, landscaping, lights and new pavements. In addition, some of the rubble walls, parking spaces and road reconstruction have also been made, while improving traffic management.

The Minister said that his Ministry is committed to continuing to repair both arterial and residential roads in Gozo in order to further improve the infrastructure around the island.

The Minister for Gozo concluded by saying that once Triq l-Imghallem has been completed, work should begin on the Triq ta-ta s-Sur, which will be completely reconstructed.
