The Malta Entertainment Industry and Arts Association (MEIA) has said that any type of events starting from today held virtually or in person with limited capacity, “should be done under protest.”
It urged organisers to put out a statement to be seen on stage, at the venue or publicly read out before the performance, saying – “this performance/ exhibition/ event/ concert/ screening/ show is being held under protest due to the discriminatory measures imposed on our sectors, disregarding our livelihood and right to work sustainably.”
” Please support us to keep the arts and entertainment alive,” the MEIA said.
