A 21-year old French woman was seriously injured after she lost control of her quadbike and crashed into a parked car in Triq ir-Rabat, Nadur, Gozo.
Police said that the accident happened at about 5.30pm when she lost control of her PEDA quadbike and crashed into a parked Opel Astra.
She was assisted by a medical team at the scene before being transferred to the Gozo General Hospital, where she was later certified to be suffering from serious injuries.
Magistrate Simone Grech has launched an .inquiry.
Police investigations are still ongoing.

How many more of these accidents have to happen for the State to take actions? Isn’t it obvious that these quad bikes are a death trap? I know someone invested in them but I cannot fathom how this person can sleep at night hearing the cries of those young people who never knew how dangerous these fun bikes are!. I feel it is a great injustice and many are the culprits including police, transit Malta and Government.
