The Association EspressjonArti Gharb has organised its first international event in two years because of restrictions due to the Covid pandemic.

The Maltese Society invited 3 groups for the occasion, the Federación Gallega Spain, the Pervino Inverdurata Association and the CulturArte Noto Association, which took place between the 4th and 8th of November.

The theme was to restart these events – RESTART and brought together a series of workshops and sharing experiences and methods.

During the weekend, Minister for Gozo, Clint Camilleri, the main promoter of this event, visited the art that was set up in the Visitation of Our Lady Square Gharb.

He also had the opportunity to meet all the guests involved, both those of the Gharb association and the visitors from abroad.

Minister Clint Camilleri praised those present for their work and said that he is happy to see similar initiatives, adding that Gozitan voluntary organisations are the ”driving force” behind many valuable and great works in the field of art.

The President of the EspressjonArti Gharb MALTA Association, David Apap, thanked the Minister for Gozo, who he said, ”is always available for non-governmental organisations to help them carry out their projects.”

David Apap Agius also thanked the Gozo Minister for his ”continued help to the Gharb Local Council and for the investments in various areas in the Locality and the residents.”

This event was made possible with the collaboration of the Coordinadora Internacional de Entidades de Alfombristas de Arte Efímero and with the main financial support of the Ministry for Gozo and the Gozo Cultural Heritage Directorate.
