A 72-year old man has passed away during the past 24 hours while Covid-19 positive. There have been 62 new cases found overnight, and 42 recoveries were also recorded.
The authorities also said that 12 Covid patients are currently being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, including 2 in ITU.
There have been 464 deaths since the start of the pandemic. The number of active cases in Malta and Gozo is now up to 866.
Health Authorities said that the number of vaccines administered up until yesterday is 930,460 of which 96,507 are booster doses.
What illnesses, and/or diseases did the 72 year old have while in the hospital?
