Two men aged 77 and 81 and an 81-year old woman have passed away during the last 24-hours while Covid positive, Authorities have said.

The number of new Covid-19 cases continue to go down as 432 are found overnight and 868 recoveries, which now takes the number of active cases in Malta and Gozo to 14,614.

There are 126 patients requiring treatment in Mater Dei Hospital (which is the only hospital being reported) including 9 who are in ITU.

Authorities said there have been 492 deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The number of booster doses administered up until yesterday is 282,983.
